Mismi Names Andrew C. Bieler as Chief Executive Officer
NEW YORK, August 18, 2009-Mismi, Inc., an innovative ATS with portfolio-level controls that enable managers to reduce risk, trade larger blocks and control market impact, announced today the appointment of Andrew C. Bieler as Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Commenting on the appointment, Sebastian Ceria, Co-Chairman of Mismi's Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Axioma, Inc., said, "Mismi is about creating the ultimate trading desk, and that means the ability to trade portfolios in a dark pool as effectively as single stocks. Bieler, who also will also serve on Mismi's Board of Directors, was previously with Deutsche Bank where he was a Managing Director running the Program Trading business and Electronic Sales efforts. Earlier, he was a Managing Director at both JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs, where he also ran the Program Trading and Sales desks.
