Dr. William Guttman, Executive Chairman, is Distinguished Service Professor of Economics and Technology and Special Advisor to the Provost at Carnegie-Mellon University.

He was part of the founding group of Carnegie-Mellon's CyLab -- one of the world's largest University-based research initiatives focused on dependability and security in software and networked systems. He also serves as Chairman of Carnegie-Mellon's education management company, iCarnegie, Inc.

He has helped build a number of technology companies, including Printcafe (NASDAQ:PCAF, acquired by NASDAQ: EFII), which he co-founded and served as Chairman and CEO. He has previously served in various advisory capacities for the United States, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, and the OECD. He is the author of Pacific Asian Capital Markets (OECD/Oxford & IBH), among numerous other publications and patents. He completed his Masters and Doctoral degrees at Balliol College, Oxford University, where he was a British Council Scholar.

Dr. Sebastián Ceria, Co-Chairman, is Chief Executive Officer of Axioma, Inc., a leading provider of innovative risk analysis, portfolio rebalancing and performance attribution solutions and software for the financial services industry. He is one of the world's foremost authorities on optimization.

Before founding Axioma, Ceria was an Associate Professor of Decision, Risk and Operations at Columbia Business School from 1993 to 1998. He was honored with the prestigious Career Award for Operations Research from the National Science Foundation, which is given annually to the two best researchers and teachers in the area. While at Columbia he was also recognized as the "best core teacher" by his students and the school. Additionally, Ceria has served as administrator for the Computational Optimization Research Center and as co-principal investigator in two National Science Foundation research projects.

Ceria is the author of many articles and has been featured regularly in a variety of publications including Management Science, Mathematical Programming, Optima and Operations Research. He has also been an editor for Optima, and a regular referee for a number of publications in the area. Past speaking engagements include international corporate and academic conferences

Ceria completed his PhD in Operations Research at Carnegie Mellon University's Graduate School of Industrial Administration.

David J. Goerz III, Director. David Goerz, Senior Vice President, Chief Investment Officer, joined HighMark in 2003. As CIO, Mr. Goerz provides leadership to all of HighMark's investment activities. He chairs the Investment Policy Committee and the Asset Allocation Committee, as well as being a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of HighMark Capital Management. Mr. Goerz has more than 19 years of investment management experience. Prior to joining HighMark, he was Chief Investment Officer of mPower Advisors and Morningstar Associates, subsequent to acquisition. Previously, he was Director of Global Asset Allocation Research and Portfolio Manager, as well as serving as Chairman of the Asset Allocation Strategy Group for Wellington Management. He also held portfolio management and senior investment research positions with TSA Capital Management and ARCO Investment Management. Mr. Goerz regularly appears on CNBC, Fox Business News, as well as Bloomberg TV and Radio. He also is quoted frequently in various investment periodicals. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Axioma, Inc., an investment software company.

Mr. Goerz received his BS from UCLA in Applied Mathematics and a Masters in Operations Research Engineering from Stanford.

Andrew C. Bieler, Director and Chief Executive Officer of Mismi, Inc., has run the program trading desks of three of the largest firms on Wall Street. He has more than 20 years of experience in risk management and trading across global equity markets, including quantitative and algorithmic approaches.

Andrew was most recently Managing Director at Deutsche Bank, where he was Head of Program Trading and Electronic Sales. While at DB, he implemented processes that increased revenue from $40mm to over $200mm including the addition of a quantitative sales/trading and research teams. Previous to Deutsche Bank he was a Partner at S3 Capital Management, where he served as Head of Trading & Risk. Before that he was with JP Morgan Chase as a Managing Director and Head of U.S. Program Trading, where he recruited a quantitative team to develop JPMC’s program trading algorithms and risk systems.

Earlier, Andrew was a Managing Director and Head of U.S. Program Trading at Goldman Sachs, Inc., where he managed their daily trading activity. During his time with Goldman their revenue and profitability grew over 400%. Andrew also led the effort in the development and design of trading applications as well as algorithms for both in-house and direct-access use.

He began his career in corporate finance in 1988, after earning an M.B.A. in Finance from Fordham University and a B.S. in Finance from Long Island University. He holds Series 7, 24, 55 and 63 securities licenses.
